Becoming a manager presents unique opportunities and challenges. This three-day interactive workshop will help participants understand what it takes to be an effective manager and leader while gaining practical skills that can be applied immediately, including: Tactical skills needed for performance management and supporting positive team dynamics. Know-how to create a trusting, effective, and inclusive environment. Steps for maintaining personal well-being as a manager. A personal management and leadership framework, including philosophy and tools. Your instructors: Kathy Thornhill, CEO, RISE Advising Services, LLC Nancy Olson, M.A., CEO, Greater Eureka Chamber and Redwood Coast Chamber Foundation, and Florence Parks Executive Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Coast. 

Time

This three day workshop will be held on May 9, 10 AND 17 from 9am-4:30pm. All three days are part of this in-person workshop.

The cost of this three-day workshop is $495.00.  At this time there are no scholarship options.
