Build Your Own AI-Powered Personal Assistant with Codex

Description

AI tools are changing quickly, and many professionals are ready to move beyond basic chatbot use into practical, repeatable workflows that save time every week. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to use Codex to create a personalized AI assistant that can help with everyday work such as drafting, organizing information, summarizing materials, creating reusable routines, and supporting common business tasks. 

This session is designed for local professionals, small business owners, nonprofit leaders, and team members who want a practical introduction to using AI more effectively. Participants will leave with a working understanding of how Codex can support their day-to-day work, along with step-by-step guidance they can continue using after the workshop. Participants should bring a laptop and create a free Codex/OpenAI account before attending. No technical background is required. 

About the instructor: 

Marie Doce is the founder of Grounded AI, a Humboldt County-based consulting practice that helps local businesses and professional-services teams use AI safely and practically in their everyday work. She brings 15+ years of experience in corporate technology, product management, and AI, with past work at companies including TripAdvisor, Mindbody, and Jasper AI. Marie specializes in turning fast-changing AI tools into useful workflows that save time, reduce admin burden, and support better client service.

Location: Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce 612 G Street, Suite 101 Eureka, CA 95501 

Parking is available on the streets near the Chamber office. Thank you for not parking in the lot adjacent to the building. 

Cost: $60/Members, $90/Non-Members.
