This half day of training geared for managers that want to create a culture of trust and accountability is brought to us by Express Employment Professionals and the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce. Art Atkinson, teaches us The Art of Influence: It all begins with Trust; and Holding People Accountable.  

Training and talent development expert Art Atkinson is Vice President Emeritus of Express University at Express Employment International. During his career at Express, he oversaw various learning programs focused on a wide variety to topics, including sales, service, and leadership, as well as the company’s online learning and certification programs.


The ability to inspire and ignite learners has taken Atkinson from the training room to the stage. His speaking engagements range from being an emcee and mainstage speaker for Express events nationwide to inspiring and motivating franchise offices in North America, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Atkinson has appeared at the Oklahoma Association for Career and Technology Education conference and the Central Oklahoma Chapter of the Association of Talent Development conference.


 Atkinson began his career with Express in 1983 and has since trained more than 6,000 new Franchisees and staff members, as well as taught more than 3,000 small-business training seminars.

In addition to his many skills, Atkinson holds a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and is a Certified Staffing Professional
